Nokia is a company that needs no introduction, and in 2010 I got tasked creating a web based sales contest for their latest smartphone - the N8.

All the shops and retail chains who sold Nokia were invited to participate in the contest, and the winning store were sent to the Cannes film festival with a real VIP-treatment with hotel, restaurants and exclusive events all paid for. In addition to the grand prize there were given weekly prizes that everybody had the chance to win.

The contest was fueled with gamification elements, and you could get points for each sale you registered in the solution, but you also got points if you created content (sales experiences) inside the application, and the Nokia team also awarded special prices to sales people who stood out in some way during the contest.
